Unfortunately, the problem of violence against women has become part of our daily lives, with continuous, serious news reports increasingly involving them.
To combat this widespread phenomenon, various associations have long existed at national and local levels, aiming to help and support women in situations of severe distress, enduring physical and psychological, sexual, and economic violence.
One of the first associations in Milan to address violence against women was CADMI; active since 1986, it continues and now intensifies its activities by providing, in addition to the Women's Shelter for Abused Women, a series of reception services (such as legal and psychological counseling, professional training courses, and much more) to help women rediscover new values, dignity, and life projects.
For several years now, Parlux has supported and continues to support the activities of this city center, which over the years has already helped approximately 37,000 women escape various forms of violence.
Parlux, the Italian company, a leader in the production of quality professional hair dryers, has always been particularly sensitive to social issues and solidarity projects, both in Italy and abroad.
Elisa Parodi, general director of Parlux Spa, reiterates the concept that the human aspect and concrete help for those most in need can also be part of her company's choices.
